Daigle Creative recently worked with our client Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida (LSS) and the Jacksonville Jaguars to share a heartwarming story with local and national news media. Jaguars owner Shad Khan donated 500 tickets to refugees served by LSS to the NFL team’s first home playoff game in nearly two decades.
After Khan donated the tickets, our public relations team quickly went into action. We worked with the Jaguars Foundation to help get national coverage in media like USA Today, ABC News and Fox Sports, as well as secure local print, TV and radio hits. These included a First Coast News story featuring local refugee Lwin Myint, WJXT coverage of the refugees headed to the playoff, and a letter-to-the editor from Mary Strickland in the Florida Times-Union.
We had a great time working with LSS and the Jaguars Foundation on this story. Watch the WJXT report here.
