Company websites must do more than look good; they should tell a story that moves people to act. At Daigle Creative, we build every website strategically with the client’s goals and the user experience leading the way. Whether the website is about an organization as a whole or a specific campaign, every page should have clear messaging that builds trust and provides visitors with obvious next steps.
That’s exactly what we did when creating a special landing page for Talkable Communities’ Hope Needs Help campaign on behalf of Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare. Talkable Communities was formed in 2021 to do something deceptively simple: teach average people how to talk about mental health in ways that save lives. Its proven methods have made a dramatic positive impact across seven Northeast Florida counties, but recent cuts in funding mean it could disappear. Our team worked with their leadership to develop a campaign name, logo and the memorable messaging of “raising $300,000 in 300 days,” and then designed a user-friendly landing page to tell the story in a way that motivates donors.
What makes this page stand out? It leads with recognition and emotion, immediately signaling that people are at the heart of what they do. We also placed three easy CTAs right at the top to make giving as easy as possible. Scrolling down, you’re met with actual training photos and statistics. Noting “five years and almost 1,000 lifesaving trainings later…” shows this is an established, proven program, which makes the funding gap feel more urgent. Real, on-the-ground photography reinforces the same idea and keeps a heavy topic feeling human instead of clinical.
The design leads visitors through multiple ways to engage because not every visitor arrives ready to write a check — some want to give $20, some want to rally their network, some are businesses looking for a bigger commitment. Giving each visitor a clear lane to self-select is what turns a page from one that only captures the already-convinced into one that can convert different audience segments in the ways they feel most comfortable.
The “Why It Matters” section may be the most moving of all. It does three jobs at once: proving credibility with stats, creating urgency and offering multiple calls to action. It offers the ideal blend of head and heart to earn a visitor’s trust and donation. At the bottom, the FAQ removes friction at the exact moment of hesitation. Questions like “Is this a nonprofit?” and “Is my donation tax-deductible?” are answered right where a hesitant donor would be scrolling, resolving any objections before they become a reason to leave.
That’s not all. Great marketing strategies carry over into multiple channels. Omnichannel marketing means a brand shows up consistently everywhere a potential donor already spends their time. We created matching digital ads that captured the same elements of the website: the same hero photography blended with actual training photography, the same “Hope Needs Help” logo lockup, the same urgency-driven language and the same powerful call to action.
These ads were placed targeted to people most likely to engage with social/mental health issues across targeted websites and social media platforms, directing people to the Hope Needs Help website with one easy click. The campaign was also supported by broadcast radio and public relations efforts to ensure good reach.
Great marketing goes beyond a beautiful homepage. It’s a strategy that carries the same story, urgency and trust across every touchpoint a person encounters. That’s the kind of thinking Daigle Creative brings to every client, campaign and cause.
