Looking at happy, healthy 3-year-old Mason you’d never know that about one year ago he was found wandering the halls of a hotel. Unfortunately, his biological mother neglected him, which led to the Department of Children and Families stepping in on Mason’s behalf.
With the help of Daniel, Florida’s oldest child-service agency, Zach and Laura McCalvin adopted Mason on October 13. Our public relations team worked with Laura Caso at First Coast News to feature the McCalvin family’s incredible journey adopting Mason and share their story as they prepare to celebrate the holidays.
